Delegates Householder and Criss move to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. Com. Sub. For H. B. 3135 – “A BILL to amend and reenact §6-7-2 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to compensation of designated constitutional officers, including for the Governor, Attorney General, Auditor, Secretary of State, Commissioner of Agriculture, and State Treasurer, beginning in the calendar year 2025, and beginning in the calendar year of each fourth year thereafter; providing for a means to calculate salaries of constitutional officers based upon certain federal salary tables; and providing for a salary modification when modifications are made to those salary tables at the beginning of each calendar year in which those officers’ terms begin.”.
